Alliance Mechanical Services: Air & Water Balancing

COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL HVAC

Alliance Mechanical Services is a certified member firm of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB). We are NEBB certified in Air and Hydronic Balancing (TAB), Building System Commissioning (BSC) and Retro-Commissioning (RCx).

Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB)

Testing, Adjusting and Balancing is an essential part of any heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system installation. All HVAC systems require correct air and water flows to achieve optimum operating conditions, comfort levels, and energy efficiencies.

We are dedicated to keeping up with current technology and supplying our technicians with the latest instrumentation to furnish the most accurate and reliable measurements. Our technicians also have the ability to operate the latest direct digital controls (DDC) systems.

Building System Commissioning (BSC)

Building System Commissioning (new building commissioning) is a systematic process of ensuring that a building performs in accordance with the design intent, contract documents, and the owner's operational needs.

The process begins with our review of the design plans and specifications, review of contractor's submittals and shop drawings, followed by site verification of the systems and equipment installation and start-up, functional and operational testing, and concludes with training of the operational and maintenance staff.

Due to the sophistication of building designs and the complexity of building systems constructed today, we have found commissioning is necessary and beneficial to the building owner.

Retro-Commissioning (RCx)

Retro-Commissioning (existing building commissioning) is a systematic process of evaluating, testing, adjusting and correcting building systems to meet the current building requirements and to improve comfort, environmental quality and optimize energy conservation.

Over time buildings undergo changes, whether from tenant improvements, changes in building use or changes made to the mechanical or control system. By improving and sustaining your building's systems, you can expect reduced operational costs, higher occupant productivity, fewer "trouble calls," increased employee/tenant retention and improved building performance.

Often, solutions can be implemented at low cost during the Retro-Commissioning process with little or no disruption to the building's operations.

With our knowledge, experience and integrity, you can trust Alliance Mechanical Services to complete your project, no matter what the size or complexity, in a timely and professional manner.
